CanopyVFX is a Melbourne-based studio producing stunning visual effects and 3D animation for commercials, television and film. We are inspired by collaboration with talented directors and agencies to pursue creative and groundbreaking ideas, challenging what is believed to be possible.
A standard at Canopy is to provide attention to detail using leading-edge technologies. Directors can explore animated worlds using a handheld viewfinder (as used in Avatar), discovering those magical moments as though on a real-life shoot. Our in-house motion capture system instantly brings characters to life in their screen environments.
This instinctive approach to visual effects is informed by our varied backgrounds, from photography and design to motion graphics and film. Our studio provides physics simulation talent (fire, liquids, smoke and particle effects), photo-real 3D work, CGI animation, and live action compositing.
